Dancer Attire and Items

Attire:
Please prepare a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes to wear under your Happi coat. A purple headband will be provided to first-time participants. If you are a returning participant and do not have one, please ask the staff.

Personal Items:
Please arrive dressed in your costume, and bring only essential items (phone, wallet, etc.) in a waist pouch or similar, so your hands are free. We recommend attaching your Naruko to the pouch using a ring.

Please bring a copy of your health insurance card.

Please note that gaming devices, alcohol consumption, and similar activities are generally prohibited in this team.

Meeting Time and Place

  • August 10th (Sat) 12:30 Meet at Joto Park for the unity ceremony (Please eat lunch beforehand)
  • August 11th (Sun) 12:00 Meet at Shionoe Ninomaru Park (Please eat lunch beforehand)

During Movement

  • The destination will be posted in the “Dancer LINE Group” as needed. If you do not understand something on LINE, please contact the responsible person (090-8692-7620 Watanabe or 090-9556-1257 Sannomiya) or the staff.
  • Other than the trip to Asahi on the first day, we will primarily move on foot, but you may use trains or taxis at your own discretion. Especially on the second day, if you plan to travel by train, it may be worth purchasing a one-day pass.
  • If you need to leave the group during the event, please make sure to inform the staff.
  • On the second day, we will mainly be walking, but you are free to use trains or taxis at your own discretion. Especially on the second day, the walking distance will be long, so please consider this in advance.

While Dancing

  • While performing, please pay attention to the distance between you and the people in front and beside you, and avoid separating too much.
  • Dance with a smile, and make sure to shout out the calls.
  • Please wear the medals you receive at each venue visibly while dancing. Also, be sure to wear the medal you received on the first day while performing on the second day.

During Water Breaks

  • This year, there might not be many opportunities for water breaks, so please make sure to stay hydrated to prevent heatstroke.
  • At venues where water services are available, please be sure to express your gratitude and take advantage of the opportunity to hydrate.
  • We have a first aid vehicle available, so if you feel unwell, please inform the staff as soon as possible.

Other

  • Please note that cancellations after registration will not be refunded. Also, in case the festival is canceled due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters, the participation fee will not be refunded.
  • Take care of yourself to prevent heatstroke and COVID-19, and let’s enjoy the festival!
